The Shakespearean A Midsummer Night’s Dream focuses on the young lovers’ strike for their love against the control of paternal authority as well as how the fairies use the mystical, magical cupid’s droplets to change their fate, making their love lives “complete”. In this 2024 version, A Midsummer Night’s Drunk, we start with a crazy yet important thought -- “What would love be if the magical power of the droplet had an expiry date?”

Design Process
As the Associate Costume Designer, I was responsible for creating costumes for the first-year ASM characters, including the crew and two fairies. Due to budget and time constraints, we sourced existing costumes from the warehouse for mixing and alterations.
